How to: Make the background for a text box invisible in a report.
Solution:
Change the 'Back Style' property box to 'Transparent' for the text box.
NOTE: The 'Developer Tools' must be installed.
1) Click the 'Reports' tab in the Database window.

2) Select the desired report from the list box. (The selected report is highlighted.)
3) Click 'Design'. (The selected report appears in Report Design.)
4) Click text box. (Handles appear around the text box.)
5) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Properties'. (The Text Box property sheet appears.)
6) Select 'Transparent' in the 'Back Style' property box:
a) Click in the 'Back Style' property box. (A down arrow button appears to the right of the 'Back Style' property box.)
b) Click on the down arrow button. (A drop-down list box appears.)
c) Select 'Transparent' from the drop-down list.

7) Close the property sheet to save the changes. (The background of the text box will appear in Report view ONLY.)
